The differences between Above Ground Biomass and Below Ground Biomass credits

Dealin.Green assists you in realizing the sale of carbon credits through our platform Dealin.GreenTrading, where companies buy your credits to reduce their carbon footprint. This creates an additional source of income, with minimal effort on your part. The sale of the Miscanthus fiber and/or wood, is also done through that platform.
In short
Carbon Credits, also called CO₂ certificates, are digital supporting documents that can be traded. Each certificate represents the reduction, avoidance or removal of one ton of CO₂.
Planting 1 hectare of Paulownia or Miscanthus absorbs on average between 30 and 40 tons of CO₂ annually.

Above-ground credits
Did you know that there is a difference between underground and above-ground CO₂ credits? Underground credits are earned by sequestering CO₂ in the soil for a long time, for example through root growth. Above-ground credits are awarded by storing CO₂ in the growth of the crop itself, such as in the stem, crown and fiber of Miscanthus and Paulownia. Dealin.Green offers above-ground CO₂ credits. This approach has the advantage of capturing CO₂ directly and visibly, giving companies that purchase the credits a tangible contribution to CO₂ reduction. Above-ground credits are generated annually by measuring and weighing crop growth, ensuring a stable and measurable CO₂ offset. Want to know more?
